Treynor girls upset Audubon; Treynor boys dominate against the Wheelers

The Treynor girl’s basketball team beat the Audubon Wheelers, 36-33 on Tuesday night. The Cardinals were led by Mandy Stogdills, who finished the game with a game-high 12 points. Stogdill made clutch free throws to clinch the win for the Cardinals. Freshman Brooklyn Currin chipped in with 10 points.
The Treynor boy’s basketball team trounced the Wheelers, 94-33. Senior star Jack Tiarks led the way for the Cardinals with 14 points, while seniors Jack Stogdill (13 points), Jon Schwarte (10 points), and junior Tim Zimmerman (12 points) also scored double digits in the 61 point win.
Catch both Treynor teams tomorrow night as they take on the Logan Magnolia Panthers at home!
