On Friday night April 26th, on their home turf, the varsity soccer boys beat the Logan Magnolia Panthers 7-4.

A hard shot by sophomore Keaton Mann then a deflection junior to Drew Petersen helped Cards score their first goal to start off the night making it 1-0.

Luke Mieska with the second and third goal upping the Cardinals 3-0 still in the first half. The Panthers followed with their first goal putting the score at 3-1 with 17 minutes left in the half.

Panthers put in another goal with 11 seconds left in the first half making it 3-2. A couple minutes later Mann got one back for the Cardinals making it 4-2.

“Luke played an awesome game, it was a great battle we deserved to come out on top.” Mann said.

Mieska scored the Cardinals fifth goal right before half, leading 5-2.

Meiska again started off the second half with a header for a goal. Seconds later Mann added a goal.

The Panthers scored their last two goals to finish the game with a score of 7-4 Cardinals!
