The girls soccer team played against the Logan Magnolia Panthers on Friday, April 26.  The Cardinals won 12-0, all in the first half. The second half was not played.

Mackenzie Emmart, Rylie Jacobsen, Alyssa Kellar, and Livia White all had two goals to contribute while Alli Brokman, Rachael Phelps, Peyton Scott, and Alexis Kellar all had one.

“I think the game went really well, we had a lot of shots on goal and we worked well as a team,” said Emmart.

Emmart is only a freshman and says she has lots to work on to improve herself for the years to come.

“I hope to keep working on my passing, communication, and shooting skills,” said  Emmart.

Alexis Kellar is a senior on the team and has committed to Iowa Western to continue her education and soccer career.

“I think we played really well and we always just have fun as a team, I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings,” said Kellar.

The team was supposed to have a tournament on April 27, which included three games, but that was cancelled.

Their next game is Friday, May 3 at 5 PM vs AHSTW in Avoca.
